This Privacy Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) explains how Green Energy Allies (“GEA”, “we” or “us”) a company incorporated under the laws of Austria, and having its address at Tuchlauben 7a, 1010 Wien, Austria, collects, uses and discloses information about you when you use our website, https://gea.energy, and online services and/or when you use our mobile application and related services (referred to collectively hereinafter as the “Services”), when you interact with us as described below.
This Policy applies to all of our processing activities where we act as a data controller in the GEA ecosystem (hereinafter the “Ecosystem”). If you reside within the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), GEA will be the data controller responsible for processing your information. See the Contact section of this Policy for details. This Policy applies to the operations of GEA in the European Economic Area (EEA). It gives you rights by operation of the EU GDPR. If you live outside the EEA, GEA will make best efforts to give you a similar degree of protection over your privacy.
We may change this Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this Policy, and the updated Policy will be posted via a hyperlink at the bottom of our website homepage. In addition, information that you submit to GEA in response to an email, request for information or other outreach to GEA, or through any GEA application processes, will also be treated in accordance with this Policy.
For the avoidance of doubt:
- GEA does not rent or sell your personally identifiable information to third parties.
- GEA does not share your contact information with other users or third parties without your consent.
- Any personally identifiable information that you provide to GEA will be secured with industry standard protocols and appropriate technology.
We request you to ensure that all your information shared with us is accurate, correct and complete, at all times, and you must promptly inform us of any changes to your information which may impact your use of the GEA Ecosystem. You understand that we shall not be liable or responsible for the authenticity of your information, or for any loss or damage that may occur to you or other third parties on account of the information being provided by you.
Data we collect automatically
We and our third party service providers, including analytics and third party content providers, may automatically collect certain information from you whenever you access or interact with this website, including your Internet Protocol address, your location (if you allow) or other unique device identifier for any device (i.e., computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) used to access the website, the browser and operating system you are using, the URL or advertisement that referred you to the website, your access times, areas within the Ecosystem that you visited, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the website, the search terms you entered into a search engine that led you to our website. We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We may do this to improve the features of this website, and to improve marketing and analytics.

- feedback and correspondence, such as information you provide when you request information from us, receive customer support, or otherwise correspond with us, including by interacting with our pages on social networking online sites or Services;
- marketing information, such as your preferences for receiving marketing communications and details about how you engage with our marketing communications;
- information about the transactions you make on our Services, such as the name of the recipient, your name, the amount, and/or timestamp;
- employment information such as job title, and/or description of role;

Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security of the provided personal information.
We do not ask for your private keys, payment information or wallet data files in an email, text or any other form of communication that we use to contact you. Please always check that any website on which you are asked for financial or payment information in relation to GEA Ecosystem is operated by us. If you do receive a suspicious request, do not provide your information and report it by contacting one of our representatives as set in this Policy. You are responsible for keeping your account password, wallet private key, seed phrase, passwords safe and secure. Do not share those with anyone. If there is an unauthorized use or any other breach of security involving your information, you must notify us as soon as possible.
- Rights for EU Residents
You have certain rights with respect to your Personal Data as set forth below.
- Access: you can request more information about the Personal Data we hold about you. You can also request a copy of the Personal Data.
- Rectification: if you believe that any Personal Data we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, you can request that we correct or supplement such data. You can also correct some of this information directly by logging into your service account. Please contact us as soon as possible upon noticing any such inaccuracy or incompleteness.
- Objection: you can contact us to let us know that you object to the collection or use of your Personal Data for certain purposes.

HOWEVER, WHEN INTERACTING WITH THE BLOCKCHAIN, AS IT IS A PUBLIC DECENTRALIZED NETWORK, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PREVENT EXTERNAL PARTIES OR GEA FROM PROCESSING ANY PERSONAL DATA WHICH HAS BEEN WRITTEN ONTO THE BLOCKCHAIN. WE WILL USE OUR REASONABLE ENDEAVOURS TO ENSURE THAT ALL PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA HELD BY US IS RESTRICTED, NOTWITHSTANDING THIS, YOUR RIGHT TO RESTRICT TO PROCESSING MAY NOT BE ABLE TO BE FULLY ENFORCED.
- Portability: you have the right to ask for a copy of your Personal Data in a machine-readable format. You can also request that we transmit the data to another entity where technically feasible.
- Withdrawal of Consent: if we are processing your Personal Data based on your consent (as indicated at the time of collection of such data), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note, however, that if you exercise this right, it may limit your ability to use some/ all the features on the Platform and you may have to then provide express consent on a case-by-case basis for the use or disclosure of certain of your Personal Data, if such use or disclosure is necessary to enable you to utilize some or all the features on the Platform.
- Deletion: you can request that we erase some or all of your Personal Data from our website and Ecosystem. HOWEVER, WHEN INTERACTING WITH THE BLOCKCHAIN WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ENSURE THAT YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS DELETED. THIS IS BECAUSE THE BLOCKCHAIN IS A PUBLIC DECENTRALIZED NETWORK AND BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY DOES NOT GENERALLY ALLOW FOR DATA TO BE DELETED AND YOUR RIGHT TO DELETION MAY NOT BE ABLE TO BE FULLY ENFORCED. IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES WE WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO ENSURE THAT ALL PERSONAL DATA THAT IS HELD BY US ON THIS WEBSITE IS PERMANENTLY DELETED.
You may, at any time, review or change the information in your account or terminate your GEA account by (i) logging into your account settings and updating it, and (ii) contacting us using the contact information provided below. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete it and the related information from our databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms and Conditions and/or comply with legal requirements.
Right to File Complaint: you have the right to lodge a complaint about our practices with respect to your Personal Data with the supervisory authority of your country or EU Member State.
Transferring data outside of EU
GEA protects personally identifiable information from residents of the European Union, other European Economic Area countries, and Switzerland in accordance with applicable law (including, as applicable, reliance upon your consent and EU-approved standard contract clauses). When you use our website, some of your personal data may be transferred to other companies outside the European Economic Area (EEA) in countries that do not have equivalent data protection laws to the EEA. We may also engage service providers for the purposes detailed above that are located outside the EEA. We take steps to ensure your personal data is safe and secure when transferring it outside of your country of residence. In particular if the recipient is in a country that is not subject to an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission, we may enter into the “standard contractual clauses” with the recipient. Legal and regulatory compliance
Some of our Services are subject to laws and regulations requiring us to collect and use your personal identification information, formal identification information, financial information, transaction information, employment information, online identifiers, and/or usage data in certain ways.
We must identify and verify customers using our Services in order to comply with anti-money laundering and terrorist financing laws across jurisdictions. In addition, we use third parties to verify your identity by comparing the personal information you provided against third-party databases and public records.

We handle sensitive information, such as your identification and financial data, so it is very important for us and our customers that we are actively monitoring, investigating, preventing and mitigating any potentially prohibited or illegal activities, enforcing our agreements with third parties, and/or violations of our posted user agreement or agreement for other Services. We collect information about your account usage and closely monitor your interactions with our Services. We may use any of your personal information collected on our Services for these purposes. The consequences of not processing your personal information for such purposes is the termination of your account as we cannot perform our Services in accordance with our terms.

The threat landscape on the internet is constantly evolving, which makes it more important than ever that we have accurate and up-to-date information about your use of our Services. Cookies
When you visit the GEA website, we obtain certain information by automated means, such as cookies. A “cookie” is a text file that websites send to a visitor’s computer or other Internet-connected device to identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. GEA uses these automated technologies to collect information about your equipment, browsing actions and usage patterns. The information we obtain in this manner may include your IP address, identifiers associated with your devices, types of devices connected to our services, web browser characteristics, device characteristics, language preferences, referring/exit pages, clickstream data, and dates and times of visits to our website.
The information we collect through cookies and similar technologies helps us (i) remember your information for future use of the website; (ii) understand how you use and interact with our website; (iii) measure the usability of our website and the effectiveness of our communications; and (iv) otherwise manage and enhance our website, and help ensure it is working properly. GEA uses the “Google Analytics” service provided by Google Inc. This service analyses the use of the GEA website by its visitors and collects statistical data about user behavior. The data Google collect is made anonymous. Google Analytics collects for example the number of visits per page, how long visitors stay on a page, the countries where these visitors come from and the pages clicked. We use this service in order to improve our website and Ecosystem. Google Analytics carries out this analysis using cookies. GEA has entered into a processor agreement with Google. Google does not use any of this data for its own purposes.
Data collected automatically
GEA will also retain data automatically collected either generated by the use of the website or from the website infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit) for internal analysis purposes. This data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods. Hence, this kind of data collected via technical means such as cookies, webpage counters and other analytics tools is normally kept for a period of up to one year from expiry of the cookie.
